12. Keep it simple
'Keep it simple'
That sometimes seems the smart thing to do.
That sometimes seems the smart thing to do.
For example,
When attempting to write 100 poems in a day
The smart thing to do would be, to 'keep it simple'
But sometimes simple is boring.
So maybe I choose to go the other way.
I could write haikus, and other short formats,
Or… I could go nuts to leave the task sown up.
Blow puff’s of gold dust to know just how good I am at being
a grown up (not very)
Make the task harder than it’s needs to be.
I could easily churn out some peacefull scenes
In a calm manor but maybe I want to breech the piece
Maybe I wanna play with complex rhymes
Not obsess over time
And get the plot lost in the divides when I jot the lines
There’s a lot I find and want to try
Actually… bollocks I better stop this line.
I’ve got near 90 more of these blocks to write
