10.       The bald beaver

They laughed at him

Taunted him like the chubby kid in the playground

They couldn’t understand his choice to shave

Beavers can be so shallow.

They called him ‘Billy Bald Beaver’

Which was odd as his name was actually James

But as the beavers got older and learnt to read their whole perception changed.

While building a dam the bully beavers found a magazine

It had strange pictures but the writing was clear to them

‘men and women love a bold beaver’.

For a few weeks after that the other beavers felt bad for james

They felt horrible for how they teased him

But it didn’t last long

They soon decided he was just trying too hard

Poor james

He was oblivious

He didn’t care about humans.

It was just a fashion statement
